Bano, Jharkhand | March 02, 2025 — In a significant move toward empowering rural communities and deepening its grassroots presence, the Adgulsa Welfare Foundation inaugurated its newest branch in Bano, Simdega District, Jharkhand. The ceremony marked a meaningful milestone in the foundation’s mission to uplift marginalised communities through education, empowerment, and holistic community development.
The inaugural event was attended by foundation leaders, local dignitaries, volunteers, and community members who came together to witness the official opening. The program started with a prayer and a speech on the foundation’s upcoming regional initiatives.
Founded on the belief that “Every Life Matters,” the Adgulsa Welfare Foundation continues to expand its impact by establishing centres facing systemic challenges such as poverty, low literacy rates, limited access to healthcare, and unemployment. The new branch in Bano is a strategic step toward addressing these gaps and bringing critical resources closer to the tribal and rural populations of Jharkhand.
Key Initiatives to Launch in Bano:
The Bano branch will initially roll out several core programs aligned with the foundation’s key focus areas:
1. Swapnadeep—A Ray of School: Introducing Faithsprout Preschool, which provides early childhood education with moral and spiritual values.
2. Spark Mind – A Competitive Learning: Launch of Grace & Growth Tutorial Centre to support students in academics and exam preparation.
3. Swarojgar / Nari Shakti: Establish a Swarojgar Silai Centre to train women in sewing and tailoring and promote income generation.
4. Paryavaran Prarthana: Environmental awareness drives and tree plantation campaigns, promoting eco-conscious living with a spiritual foundation.
5. Saath– Shelter of Dignity: Elderly care support programs for senior citizens in the area.
During his address at the inauguration, Amandeep, Founder of the Foundation, emphasised the organisation’s commitment to reaching the most vulnerable communities:
“Our work in Bano is driven by compassion and the conviction that no life should be left behind. Through this new branch, we aim to plant seeds of knowledge and hope that will bear fruit for generations.”
Local Need and Community Response
Bano has long struggled with developmental challenges. With a significant tribal population, the area has seen high rates of school dropouts, unemployment, and migration due to a lack of opportunities. The foundation’s initiatives are expected to address these issues by creating avenues for education, skill development, livelihood generation, and social support.
Community leaders expressed gratitude for the foundation’s efforts, calling it a “ray of hope” for the local population. Women from the area also expressed enthusiasm about participating in the upcoming training and self-help programs.
Looking Ahead
The Bano branch will be a hub for development activities in the immediate locality and neighbouring villages. Plans are underway to involve local youth as volunteers, train community teachers, and build capacity-building partnerships with local institutions. With this new addition, the Adgulsa Welfare Foundation now operates in Bano and Ranchi, carrying forward its Christ-inspired vision of serving humanity.
