The Adgulsa Welfare Foundation, a Jharkhand-based NGO working for social upliftment, conducted a charity drive on Sunday in Dhipatoli, Pundag, Ranchi. It distributed 60 school kits and 60 warm blankets to underprivileged children and families.
The initiative aimed to provide immediate relief during the winter season and to create awareness about the foundation’s broader mission to support education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, and social development.
Each school kit contained essential stationery items, including notebooks, pencils, erasers, and pens. It was intended to encourage children to stay in school and pursue their education despite economic hardship. The blankets were distributed to elderly and low-income families struggling with harsh winter conditions.
“We want to ensure that every child has the tools and motivation to continue learning,” said Amandeep, Founder of Adgulsa Welfare Foundation. “This drive is part of our ongoing efforts to serve communities in need compassionately.”
The event witnessed active participation from local volunteers and was welcomed warmly by residents. Many expressed gratitude for the timely support, especially amid the cold weather and rising living costs.
The Foundation, headquartered in Ranchi, has been expanding its activities across Jharkhand. It focuses on rural development through education, skill training, environmental awareness, healthcare and nutrition, and elder care programs. The recent charity drive is part of its effort to reach underserved areas and strengthen community engagement.
